As per a new discovery, NVIDIA is selling two versions of the GeForce RTX 2070, a regular version and a higher end SKU that boosts way past standard parameters.
Well this is quite annoying. So now instead of paying for better third-party VRM you also have to pay for a binned chip...it's sad that AMD doesn't care about this price range. =\ While their architecture was very different and had potential, it's not what we're seeing with Directx12 anymore. I can't wait to see good ray tracing, but it seems like the next generation is the one to get so I'll hold onto my 1070, even though I use a 4k monitor...I should switch to an Ultrawide.
