It's an atmospheric and absorbing title, TPCG's only beef being with the time it can take to travel across each sector. Inter-sector travel is instantaneous and provided by jumpgates at either end, but moving between trading stations, factories and orbital platforms in autopilot can take a monotonously long time prior to significant engine upgrades.
Ultimately, it's a game for the fans, but newbies shouldn't be put off, especially as it's also available by direct download on Steam at a considerable knockdown from the £29.99 retail price.
