During you time with Red Dead Redemption 2, you may occasionally notice that weapons that you had equipped previously may not show up in protagonist Arthur’s inventory. This may happen after you have died, or after you jump back into the game after turning it off for a while.

Sadly I own it for PS3/4/5 even though I’ve never played it. I did get them for super cheap though and still unopened.
Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to impress with its success, this time seeing its all-time concurrent player count broken on Steam.
Such a great game, loved the story and characters. It just sucks there was some annoying real slow mechanics and such that made it an inch from perfect for me.
I lost my scofield revolver after I died, had it customised nice too, and no, it wasn't on my horse either.
I lost a legendary bear skin just for leaving it on the floor and walking too far away from the base camp.
Worse when you get off your horse and realise you've lost your weapons only to remember the game has an awful system where you need to keep managing your loadouts on your horse.
Sometimes being too realistic is bad in terms of overall fun
I thought I lost a gold revolver I got for killing a famous outlaw but then I realized when in the inventory you switch within weapon classes.
The one thing they should've left unreal is the weapon wheel/loadout system.
I searched all over the Internet with no luck trying to find out where my weapons went. Before I just said screw it and went on with no weapons. I was pissed until I realized I had to do the beginning horse mission to get them back. They do a poor job explaining the systems, it just seems glitchy to me.
