This Smash Bros Ultimate roster leak is huge, allegedly revealing Banjo-Kazooie, Shadow the Hedgehog, Isaac from Golden Sun, the Chorus Kids from Rhythm Heaven, Mach Rider, and more.

Just look at the amount of work for the Rayman leak in the WiiU version, I dont really put it past anyone at this point to pull this off.

Phil has already said he would love to see banjo in smash and that's the kind of thing why a lot of gamers like him. I just hope this means there's a new banjo game coming. After all rash got added to killer instinct and then a new battletoads got announced the next year.

Plus it would be an incredible way to bring the character back into gamer's minds, in case Microsoft wants to release a new game. (Which I think there's a decent chance of, considering they're making a new Battletoads too).

It’s free advertising and promotion, especially if a new banjo game is in the works. It’s not the kind of game where you have to worry about the IP getting ruined. Like sub zero ripping off Ryu’s head for example, there are no complications like that. You see shovel knight in every game because the developer is smart, he’s building the brand and recognition.

It's an event bracelet that was printed at a print shop that does promotional material for Bandai Namco, among other companies. The person snapchatted it to someone else as a video, and then the person who received the snapchat took pictures and posted them online. That's why it's so blurry.

I'd get more excited for a Battletoads or RC Pro Am game if it was published by Nintendo as opposed to Microsoft. It's no coincidence that Rare's games started to become shit right after Microsoft bought them, whereas they seemed like they couldn't do wrong and made amazing game after amazing game when they were working with Nintendo.

The former Rare guys had a chance to do just that and they end up making Yooka Laylie, an exact copy of Banjo and then that goes on to fail in the market.

They have IP's just sitting there begging to have some kind of investment injected into them. Instead MS has zero interest and lets them languish. I mean, look what they did with Conker FFS.There's Battletoads, Conker, Banjo, Perfect Dark. Those are the main ones just waiting to be revived, but MS sits on them doing nothing.I know Battletoads is supposed to have something coming, but the odds on that being some kind of shit HD remake of sorts are high. It's not about the developer. It's those ip's that will sell.

A lot of their IP's are dormant and I definitely agree with seeing a new Perfect Dark which is long overdue but who's to say that Rare leaving would bring those games back or bringing those games back will even be good?

Yooka Laylie was a Banjo spiritual successor and it failed, you yourself just mentioned that Battletoads has potential to only be some HD remake when it releases. These are already two IP's from Rare, one has already failed, the other you have already made up your mid of it being nothing.

I don't see Battletoads being a HD remake, I see it being a brand new game/reboot. The game is good but it had it's flaws, huge flaws.

Some of the characters being added are amazing (hello banjo and Ken) but what the actual beep is shadow the hedgehog doing in the game as a full character slot and you’ve not got tails in their what on Earth were they thinking Tails or at least knuckles should have their own slot over shadow any day of the week he’s awful and absolute crazy move he should have been an echo character for sonic rather than a full blown extra character slot it should have been TAILS!!! ;(
