3/10 ? I played it for half an hour yesterday and I can already say it's definitely not a 3/10 lol

wonderfulmonkeyman2009d ago

I knew there would be those that dislike this, but a 3 out of 10 is a score reserved for games that are severely lacking in several technical areas, nearly to the point of unplayable.
This game is far above a 3 out of 10. A 7 at the absolute lowest.

Slant Managinze went on a slant and just created a slag off for this game, they review is lacking so many basic review elements

The Inevitable Demise of Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Jacob S. from Link Cable Gaming writes: "While most of the industry had moved on from the toys-to-life fad, Ubisoft attempted one last, late stab to try and profit on this idea, and sadly for them and coming in five years too late, Starlink: Battle for Atlas failed to live up to their expectations."

it's a shame because it's not a terrible game. The Switch version with the added Star Fox integration was pretty cool.

O-D-C1169d ago

Ya the Switch version is the one to get - the Arwing toy is cool too.

anonymousfan1169d ago

It's the best Star Fox game in years! The toys were unecessary but I bought most of them anyways. I think they look cool :)

Neonridr1169d ago

I have every ship, weapon and player minus the ship that came with the XB1 / PS4 set (since I purchased the Switch set with the Arwing). I was tempted to pick up one for the PS4 that came with that other ship when it was on clearance for like $5. They look cool sitting in my display and my two kids actually like playing with them like they are toys.

ZeekQuattro1169d ago

I bought the game a year or so on the Switch with the Ar-Wing for $20. I treated as a Star Fox game and I wasn't disappointed.

Too bad this did not do better. I enjoyed it.

ocelot071219d ago

Don't you need the toys for this game? Or am I thinking of the wrong game.

Toiletsteak1219d ago

Nah you don't need them to play this game.

Father__Merrin1219d ago

They are doing one daily for next 6 days I think. I predict it will alternate dls or add on one day then game the following. Kinda hoping they give the crew 2 away

Toiletsteak1219d ago

Yes it's one new game everyday. I just bought The Crew 2 so I hope not 😆

Father__Merrin1219d ago

Farcry primal will also be a good one. Games like that on pc played with a trainer are excellent

RaiderNation1219d ago

This really wasn't a bad little game. A little repetitive but the graphics and mechanics were solid. I enjoyed the Switch version a lot with the Star Fox integration.
