The November 8 issue of Weekly Famitsu, which is due out on October 25, will have a feature on Level-5’s 20th anniversary, this week’s issue of the magazine teases.
Dark Cloud 3 please
Sony owns that not Level-5
And? Who says Level 5 can't bring it back with Sony? Been a Level 5 fan since Dark Cloud. Would give anything to see it revived.
@TheColbertinator “There has been a lot of requests and voices to create a Dark Cloud 3 or some form of Dark Cloud,” Hino told Polygon. “That IP is co-owned or managed by Sony Computer Entertainment, so it’s not something that we can do or act upon on our own.” https://www.polygon.com/201... They do not have the rights now can they come out and announced it. Its 100% up to Sony. Sony is not listening you all Level-5 Sony fans. They haven't been for awhile when it comes to their First Party Japanese games.
I'm not a Sony Level 5 fan. I am a Level 5 fan that has been with them since the Sony PS2 days. Regardless of what system Level 5 chooses for their newest game I am always interested in their next project. Sony and Level 5 are separate companies but Sony knows that Dark Cloud is a franchise some hardcore fans have asked to see again and having Level 5 take them helm is not a completely insane idea. I even saw that Gundam series that Level 5 worked on simply because of its art direction. Period.
Eh, not necessarily. The wording could also imply a dead/dormant IP coming back. For example they could be partnering with Sony to bring back the Dark Cloud series.
Sony has to partner with them. Not them partnering with Sony. Sony has the IP. Their current priorities right now are their IP they fully own.
Dude. What are you talking about? First of all, partnerships go both ways. Hence why they're called PARTNERships. Secondly, I didn't say Level 5 owned the IP.
Would love to get a sequel to Rogue Galaxy
