Too bad God of War isn't on PSNow. It would've slaughtered the Avengers and Aloy!!

roadkillers1031d ago

Yea, I can't find any. Not even the digital versions, Facebook has them going $400 over retail.

poppatron1031d ago

I need to cancel my subscription, there’s rarely anything I like that I don’t already have

Stanjara1031d ago

So Avengers are fine? I thought that the game is dying.

crazyCoconuts1325d ago

PSNow continually ratcheting up the games. They've got a great catalog included at this point.

"Resident Evil 7 biohazard is available until November 30, 2020." Less than 3 months for a game that came out almost 4 years ago.
"Final Fantasy XV is available until March 1, 2021."

I'm a PS guy but I don't think Sony is adding games fast enough to balance out how quickly they're leaving the service. And unlike most streaming services, their internally made stuff isn't all on PS Now either.

Don't get me wrong, PS Now is so much better now than it was last year but look at what Games Pass is getting (this is an incomplete list as well):
Hypnospace Outlaw (added August 27th, 2020)
Tell Me Why - Chapter 1 (added August 27th, 2020)
Double Kick Heroes (added August 28th, 2020)
Wasteland 3 (added August 28th, 2020)
Drake Hollow (added August 28th, 2020)
Resident Evil 7 Biohazard (added September 3rd, 2020)
Tell Me Why - Chapter 2 (added September 3rd, 2020)
The Jackbox Party Pack 4 (added September 3rd, 2020)
Touhou Luna Nights (added September 3rd, 2020)
Hotshot Racing (added September 10th, 2020)
Tell Me Why - Chapter 3 (added September 10th, 2020)
Destiny 2 expansions Forsaken, Shadowkeep (September 2020)

That's an exciting list that even includes completely new games. Sony can't compete if they don't go all in but it doesn't make financial sense for them to do that. Btw, PS Plus is way better than Games With Gold.

Maybe another perspective is that PSNow already has more than double the games GamePass has so GamePass has some catching up to do?
Yea all their 1st Party games aren't on GamePass because.... well, they're awesome games that bring a lot of revenue in sales. If/when Xbox ever gets to that point we'll see if their policies change...

@cornelis

"Sony isn't trying to sell its consoles on its services"

I'm going to avoid that statement, being that's simply your own, personal, observation.

We're simply looking at two separate companies that offer a subscription service that allow you to download games for the cost and, sorry, as someone who owns both, gamepass>PS Now.

jukins1325d ago

Probably Capcom pushing it out rather than Sony/MS pulling it onboard.

Puty1325d ago

Sport sim WWE? Wrestling isnt sport.

preciousdeath1325d ago

I paid $40 for a year of PSNow. They have sales like that all the time. Even at the regular price of $60, it's an incredible value. Sony exclusives are actually worth retail price, so I don't mind them not being on PSNow until later. I also don't mind that games leave the service over time because I try to play them when early and then move on. I'm hooked on Dead Cells right now from August, so we'll see if I get to September games anytime soon.

Are Wrestling Games Getting Worse?

Some of you may know that the latest instalment in the WWE gaming franchise 2K20 was released late last year to generally poor reviews. Some of this was based on graphical issues, but mostly it was due to the many glitches and bugs found – many of which are hilarious to witness.

Fire Pro needs more love. The last PS4 title gets regular playtime from me.

I hear that there are financial troubles at the studio, but I'm hopeful for a Switch port one of these days.

The Wood1553d ago

Anyone remember Giant Gram Wrestling on the Dreamcast .....

Rambokind1553d ago

Ah hell yes! That was loads of fun.

Acecalibur1553d ago

Fire Pro just gets better. Buy it.

micdagoat191553d ago

I have Fire Pro for PS4 and PC but it seems more of like a Sim creator rather than people actually playing out matches. I still dont like anything as much as the N64 games

b163o11552d ago (Edited 1552d ago )

Golden Era of wrestling games in the Golden Era of wrestling. I've been contemplating going back and getting a N64 and getting those classic's
WWF Wrestlemania 2000
WWF No Mercy
WCW vs. nWo Revenge

micdagoat191549d ago

Yeah its the only wrestling games I still play consistently for fun.

TheTony3161553d ago

Yes. The last great wrestling game was svr 2006.

addictedtochaos1553d ago

Yes, the WWE ones at least. The last good one was 2K14 and the last great one was Here Comes the Pain.
