Are a large enough number of people still playing this to even need to announce this stuff anymore

Hungryalpaca2030d ago

Surprisingly people are still playing it for some reason. It’s so barebones how people haven’t gotten bored is beyond me.

Honestly they ruined it when they changed the system for leveling up. Used to be as long as I played well I could enhance the stuff I wanted to regardless of what it was. Now if I want to make a hero better I have to earn enough points to get the hero, hope that the team isn't at its limits for heros, make sure someone hasn't picked my hero, then I have to kick ass with the hero. It's too difficult, old system was much better.

I remember thinking I'd pick it up used 6months after launch, I've still not played it for the single player.
Fuck EA

I bought BF 2 during an Xbox Live sake for $13 CAD. I played the campaign for 2 hrs before deciding to refund the game. BF 2’s campaign has the same dull pseudo-tutorial level design as Battlefield 1 (missions take place on recycled MP maps). Battlefront 2 also crashed on me twice and had unusually long load times for a non-rpg.

Someone got it for me last Christmas, even after I said under absolutely no circumstances is anyone to get me this game. I was a huge Star Wars fan (until TLJ took a big steaming dump on the whole franchise) so I went through the campaign. It's not worth getting it just for single player anyway. I had to force myself to finish it. The multiplayer was actually pretty solid though, up until you came up against someone with everything maxed out. You might as well have just left the game when someone got a maxed out hero. Absolutely pointless!! It's been sitting there gathering dust since then so maybe I'll try it again seen as though they balanced everything and ditched the pay to win. It could've been a great game if EA hadn't royally f*cked it up.

Servers are always full and I play it every day. It also applies to local content - so yes.

I jump in from time to time and have fun. The constant barrage of kills by maxed out players destroys my soul... Then i go play games not made by EA

They should surrender the Star wars licence. Their output is barren and dire.

Game companies are not mature enough to handle this concept without turning it into a casino.

The remakes of battlefront should have been more simular to the originals. CoD/battlefield reskinned as Star Wars was not the anwser.

Remembering or celebrating? It's Halloween yo, that's what people are celebrating.

The first game was really fun. I remember being disappointed with this one when it first released.

I went back last month actually, and had more fun than when released-but I still think the first one is superior. Do like the soundtrack!
