Modder ‘Boxhead78’ has released brand new version of his Redux mod for Black & White 2. In case you weren’t aware of, Black & White 2: Redux is a modification which aims to recreate the game with an increased difficulty. This mod mainly adds an improved AI, changed landscapes, minor features and some balance tweaks.
Modder 'merendas235' released a 4K HD Texture Pack for Black & White 2.

It was a great game and a great project. I also have great memories, I remember very well playing Diablo 2. Now the new Project Diablo 2 has come out and I still spend hours playing on the computer. I remember playing the first one on my dad's pc, running at about 5 frames per second on a pentium III. Finally i convinced him to get a new pc (partly because he wanted to play Prince of Persia 3d himself) and i had a glorious time with the game. Never played the sequel though.

I still have my discs, but they don't work with Windows 10 as far as I can tell.
IMO the first one is better. But that's just me. In the first you could pretty much ignore your creature and gain all your power through population, sacrifices, and miracles. The creature island expansion focused more on the creature, and they continued with that idea in the sequel.
I just liked sacrificing dozens of people to fuel my fireballs, and raining fire on the enemy village. LOL
Haha I loved both but i agree thought the 1st one was better. Love to see a black and white 3 or even remastered on pc and Xbox.

I think max payne came out around the same time, I remember playing it along with all the games you mention during my grade 8 summer break

You guys act as if they were working all these beloved franchsies. They weren't. They were suck in the mud doing dead-end games for MS. Now that they've been let go, they'll probably be MORE likely to develop the kind of games they should've been developing in the first place.
I hope they go on to bigger and better things, I'm sure the devs will. But Black and White was a great game.
The day studio was close was destiny because in the past they got acquire by Microsoft(fate was sealed).
