Why is it listed as today's hottest, nobody cares about it here...

Ubisoft buying their way to the top. They always have the shittiest advertisement ideas, like flooding videos and comment sections with obvious bots.

I think it is more of a global appeal versus a U.S. market.

Obviously they do or there would not be the hits on it. Even Google picked it up for their news feed.

If the game is online or has on disc DRM, you don't own it. Simple as that.

"Why are you booing me? I'm right!" (c) Hannibal Burr.
I don't why are you getting these dislikes, cuz you're right. The only digital store where you own the games is GOG, cuz you literally get install files.
It's been shown multiple times, that activation servies (or DRM if you wanna call it that) on disks tend to go down. All these zoomers downvoting you don't remember GFWL and other crap.

It's likely due to music and car licenses

gold_drake195d ago (Edited 195d ago )

the biggest issues are definitely the car brand and music licensing in the game.

Sir, have you ever thought of doing stand up? You're hilarious.
Should I remind you that GT7 is a live service online only game?
Should I remind you of Sony hiding (until recently) some older PS1 games behind PS Plus highest tier paywall?

"Sony hiding (until recently) some older PS1 games behind PS Plus highest tier paywall?"

You do realise that it was Capcom that decided to only allow their games to be accessible via PS Plus, and not bought, right...

Sony had literally nothing to do with it, otherwise you'd see other games - such as SIE published titles - doing the same thing.

Sony probably can't afford it...lol

However.
if you know that will be an issue down the road, make better deals.

this will definitely be another huge issue for FH5

Does the author knows the car manufacturers put limitations to their products license?
