there was a group that said they hacked the Pentagon however that is no big deal because no government secrets are available on the internet. the US government puts NOTHING of value on the internet. the best they could have done is stolen some HTML code. really, an elite Chinese hacker ammounts to nothing but what we call a "code kidddie" in the USA. they talk a lot but all they're good for is pirating some software and maybe stealing a few credit card numbers.

And as a result of their ineptitude all they do is talk, talk, talk, and complain some more when they suddenly realize that MS is onto them and is sabotaging their pirated software. they still haven't broken Mac OS and they're losing the battle with Windows Vista. Cry me a river.

Just to let u know... 99% of your current computer hardware and console are made in China. If you don't believe me pull out your boards and cards and look. If it says made in Taiwan... it's also made by the Chinese. Just like any company out there... there are good ones and there are bad ones. Say what you will, but always know your $500 uber rig was made possible by China and its cheap labor and manufacturing capacity. If China didn't exist, you'd have to pay $2000 for it, just like in the old days. In fact pull up everything in your house, I would say a good 70-80% of the stuff is also made in China or "Assembled in the US" in which case most of the internal components are Chinese anyway.

Most Chinese don't see the same value that MS has you believe in Software. Personally I think OS software is so inexpensive to reproduce (we've all made our CD/DVD copies of stuff) it shouldn't be sold at the ridiculous prices MS charges (like for Windows Vista Ultimate). The fact that the OS costs probably 3 months of an average Chinese man's pay means that MS should re-evaulate their stance. After all with over 1 billion potential customers you could always afford to leave some money on the table.

I didnt mean chinese ppl in general, I know most of the electric stuff comes from over seas. I was just talking about the extreme amount of hackers and people who rip of major products like the Vii for example.

Taiwan isn't part of China. It has declared it's independence, and an entire US naval fleet is standing in the way of China taking it back. Taiwanese government is the remnants of the Kuomintang, which was the political party that opposed the Chinese Communist Party.

So while my computer is made by East Asians, it is made by Taiwanese, not what the entire west refers to as China.

they should lol, i mean lets face it, no-one has hardware driver problems/anti-piracy problems on Mac or Linux, and thats because they trust there customers a lot more than M$ does. Apple and Linux think there customers are innocent till proven guilty, whereas M$ think you are guilty before proven innocent. for example, my mate has a legitimate copy of XP, he upgraded to SP3 the other day and got told his copy of Windows was illegal and his copy of Office 2003 was also illegal (although both werent) and that he would have to buy newer i.e. worse versions of both for his computer to work again. Good ol' M$....
