Shuhei Yoshida planning bigger projects
Astro bot rescue mission looks amazing. Can't wait for more quality games like it
AStro bot, Firewall Zero, Creed...Starting to look like PSVR coming into it's own
Yeah and Blood & Truth, whenever it releases, looks pretty cool and has very high quality
Astro Bot does look amazing. I want a Astro Bot game for PS4!
More!?!! I have such a backlog of amazing PSVR games. And you want more? My wallet can't handle more! But, what the heck! Keep the hits coming SONY! Ace Combat 7 is going to be a contender for GOTY.
Tell me about it. Between PS4 + PSVR I am just swamped with games.
Here's hoping Ace Combat VR won't contain just a few missions.
It's 5 missions, although all of them are pretty large scale...
There is only 3 missions in vr and roughly 3 hours in total
Ozzy talking about ACE combat 6, that got 3 missions. ACE combat 7 will have 5 mission.
Where you getting 5 missions from it only has 3 missions check there web site and check out EGX 2018 show where all the details where announced
Can’t wait. I love the Star Wars vr. So crazy turning and leaning over just to look at the wings lol. Same with call of duty vr. Loved it even though both were short. Kinda a glimpse into future of flying games. Ace combat should be amazing
Idk why ea didn’t go further with it, probably money, but that be mission is easily one of the best be experienced (and Star Wars tech demo) If they did a full x wing be game id all over it
RE2 remake would be a start
Since the vita is out of the picture, Sony should support VR more.
Sony's been pretty good at supporting it. The studio they set up to focus on VR should start to release more stuff soon. 3rd party has been pretty good too. There are some duds of course, but there are also a lot of really good games on the platform. It's just a matter of getting them out, and getting people to see them to help push VR adoption higher.
PSVR is getting more.Thanks Sony.
Firewall Zero Hour is on another level. perhaps one of the best, if not the best FPS MP game this year.
You know I just thought - can you imagine the workout we'd get if they disabeled the crouch button?
who uses the crouch button? lol
You crouch in real life? Man now I feel lazy
I always use the crouch button..of course I'm outta shape too..i fought 3 fights and several training sessions yesterday playing Creed and felt like I was about to die by the end of my last fight..lmao...when I woke up this morning I felt like my arms were about to fall off
I'm getting Creed tomorrow. Pretty excited to play it
There's a crouch button?
Nice, can't wait to psvr 2.0 to dive in. Hopefully it will be a bit more wireless.
They really need to step up first party content if psvr has any hopes of sticking around. Third parties seem to have given up for the most part. Im hoping for something as must have as spider-man for vr.
Don’t give up! I’m telling you this tech needs to keep moving forward!
PSVR will be remembered as the system that pushed VR to become relevant, without Sony we will be staring to a flat TV forever. Firewall Zero Hour in PSVR is the best 2018 shooter, period.
Some people will, but its the Oculus Rift that started it. I think so far ps vr has to be seen as a huge failure, but its not too late for sony to turn it around!
Psvr has more porential due to price and market saturation of compatible hardware.
If it was seen as a HUGE failure they would be abandoning it like they did the Vita..I mean, obviously its not quite doing as well as they hoped it would but they obviously have enough hope in PSVR to be doubling down on game development...not to mention over the past year multiple diagrams have surfaced of hardware Sony has patented..new motion controllers, len high res VR lens as well as the most recent one that highlighted a bunch of new comfort options...PSVR is the biggest VR platform on the market.
If Sony would setup demos this holiday season in gaming and electronic store running Firewall Zero Hour with the Aim controller...set up a PSVR demos at movie theaters running Creed:Rise to Glory when the new Creed movie comes out this November..Sony would sell millions of PSVR this holiday season..Firewall Zero Hour is a game changer, most fun ive had with a multiplayer shooter in a long time.whats not to love about a game that is basically Rainbow 6 in VR?
@Garrett_the_GOD the thing is they arent doubling down, this is just the authors spin on what the sony rep actually said. When you look at the games that are coming out they are simply the ones that sony didnt already cancel. Sony is trying to set up demos all over north america to see if that will work, but I think its their final attempt before they just give up. Right now occulus go is far outselling psvr, psvr sales have pretty much stopped. So many people are in denial because they want this to catch on, but people just dont want to be strapped into a helmet at home just like they didnt want to wear 3d glasses at home.
Who's calling it a failure? the system is selling, it's adopted better than any other VR system, and it gets plenty of support and has an exceptionally high attach rate for gaming software, which means the devs are making money, and Sony is making money. The only people that seem to think that its a failure are those that wanted it to fail from the start, or have been overly negative towards the concept since before any company released their hardware. PSVR has pushed VR more than any other system out. But the options available on PC when put together, have done quite well for getting it established on PC as well. There is a healthy community for both PS and PC VR users.
LOL it's sold more than Rift and Oculus combined. If any thing PSVR is just starting to hit it's stride with Firewall, Creed, and others to soon release.
What's the problem with VR? Is it you can't map movement with freedom like in tom raider or wolfenstein? Or is it movement is fine but resolution and graphics are poor? I know there is a nausea issue as I've experienced that with Gear VR a few years ago, I had the first one. I learned from that vr that games were not good but live at a music concert looking around was great. Also being in an animated movie looking around was a nice novelty.
If your only vr experience is with the gear then you have not actually experienced vr. Try playing firewall with the aim controller in hand the immersion is unbelievable especially in a tactical mp game
Astro bot next week, looks fantastic. Evasion looks stunning also.
This is GREAT news to me..I love my PSVR but I was worried Sony would end up abandoning it like they did the Vita..this gives me hope maybe Sony will release PSVR 2 for PS5
We need a Gundam wing VR...and a Dynasty warriors.
Rpg please , a pretty big one 20-30hours or more !!
You mean like skyrim. I've been playing it recently and the game is huge. My first time ever playing the game. And in VR no less. Using magic is crazy fun.
I had a hard time getting into skyrim. But I didn't realize that I could tilt the move controller to move around in the game, and found the porting around less than suitable for constant use. I plan to get back into it when I get through a few other games.
Love my psvr this is great news
Good! I want this baby to succeed. Its the reason I invested in a Vive!
Good as long as Shu Yoshida is there I'll still support Sony even though Ken Yoshida worries me.
If they don't release farm simulator on vr then there isn't even a point
With Facebook pushing Oculus towards mobile VR and Sony already dominating "medium end" VR there is now a void for them to push wider FOV and wireless link to PS4/PS5 with a high end headset and no competition from Oculus.
wrong. Rift will have a successor. The "Quest" is their standalone unit, but it's not designed to replace the Rift. It's there as a middle-ground between the Go and the Rift.
