It may sound like torture to some, but why do so many gamers love playing "hardcore" games and what's the culture behind it?
I like a tough game as long as it gives me tools to tackle it with. Games which are just hard for the sake of hard (like many of the old NES games like Battletoads and Ghosts N' Goblins) are anti-fun for me, but games like the Soulsborne series, that reward patience and careful play and that give you new gear and skills to build yourself with, are awesome. Can't wait for Sekiro :)
