gaming right now is about as good as i've ever seen it - GoW earlier in the year. i'm having lots of fun with strange brigade. RDR2 coming next month. RE2 in january. days gone and metro exodus in february. sekeiro in march with LoU2, dying light and ghost of tsushima (among others) to follow - i don't think i've ever seen so many high-quality games coming so fast.

Honestly, having completed The Last of Us around 10 times, as a massive fan of the game, I never really wanted a sequel. I loved the ending and the ambiguity.

Now that we are getting a sequel and given the incredible stuff they have shown, I could not be more excited. I cannot wait to play this game, there is no doubt it my mind it will set even higher standards for storytelling in videogames.

I felt the same. The ending to the first was so brilliant I couldn't see how they could continue it without ruining the franchise. But I am beyond stoked now, naughty dog isn't afraid to break controversial lines to complete their vision and that is a very good thing.

That's pretty bratty reasoning. I take it you're not much of a fan of the narrative then (who bails on entertainment because a character is removed? The story goes on). He was in ONE game. ONE. It has been painfully obvious from the DLC and even the main game that Ellie is easily the most important character and always was.

You wanna skip it, be my guest. I think that's ridiculous reasoning (especially when you have no idea how the game continues or what other characters are like). You're entitled to your own logic, even if it's quite silly.

I'm excited. Curious to see how Bruce Straley's departure will impact the game, but hopefully, it'll still be a knockout success. I'm confident in its quality.

I have to say i haven't been a fan of ND lately with all the bullcrap they are putting in their games since UC4 but this pic looks awesome.. she looks scary and super pissed it's awakening old emotions one's i had all my life for ND since 1999.

Still have doubts about this game and the future of ND but we will see in time.

and yes that's what i meant Uc4 and Lost Legacy and now TLOU 2 those are games plural .. ND pre UC4 was a different ND we all know where their focus lays the most these days i learned that the hard way and from a MEGA fan i'm now just an observer. Luckily they haven't lost their magic touch yet in making games since UC4 was amazing and LG was good.. also TLOU 2 looks good from that gameplay demo.. i will probably eat my own words when i buy it eventually but that still doesn't change the fact that ND has changed and not for the better IMO.

No wonder so many good people have been leaving ND for quite some time.
