So close to overtaking GameCube and Xbox

Nyxus29d ago

Gamecube really deserved more success.

Sirk7x29d ago

Gamecube was one of my all time favorite consoles. Along with PS2.

I disagree. The Gamecube was a very "core gamer" system with great games. Many of them were much more mature than Nintendo's typical offerings. It was cheaper than the competition, and more powerful than the PS2. It was even easier to develop for. It only had one real flaw, and that was the mini-disks. It really did deserve more sales.

The Cube was great and way under appreciated. Actually all three consoles were great that generation in their own ways.

You’re right. This information is outdated. I would expect Nintendo to reveal official sale numbers right after Pokemon or Smash has launched when it is likely that the Switch would be at 30 mils or more units sold.
