"Of course, this card (in keeping with the entire Radeon line) makes a good attempt at handling HD video. It's also worth remembering that the Sapphire Radeon HD 4550 consumes little power and is almost silent in use. This may allow it to appeal to those looking to kit out their media centre PCs with something that packs a little more oomph than the standard onboard graphics controller.

Compared to £50 graphics cards we've seen before, the Sapphire Radeon HD 4550 does much the best job when it comes to demanding games. But the problem is, how many users would really buy this card when an extra £20 or less buys you a far superior 4670 that can offer at least twice the performance?"
