Rumor: Wii version of Rock Band 2 bundle won't see release until early 2009

Hey Wii owners, if you had any Christmas parties planned around Rock Band 2, here's some harrowing news: the game/instrument bundle may not see release in 2008.

LMAO dude... just stop talking.. You do know that not only did RB for Wii not have DLC but it also came out just a few months back.. Yet here you are talking about how the Wii edition did before it ever even hit store shelves.. Just stop.. Go get a real clue what you are talking about then come back. Also not hard to see why 360 beat PS3.. At the time they did have 16 million consoles sold compared to Sony's 8.. Are you really trying to say that just as many PS3 owners should have bought the game as 360 owners even when the consoles dont exist? The more you speak the more you show how little you know. Show me where I said different? I never said Wii had dlc on day 1.
Please provide the link in which I said it did. I may not post everyday, but I visit this site daily. I download the podcast and enjoy it every monday. I listen to it at work on my zune all week long. If you think I am some misinformed child who's fist system was a xbox360, then you are seriously underestimating me.

@4.4: Take what I said anyway you want to. The facts are EA gave us RB2 before ps3 and wii owners. Why do you think that is? Why is it sony and nintendo won't release their dlc numbers? Ashamed much?

I know what you will say lemming "M$ paid for exclusivity!" even it that were the case, if there was a posssiblity of EA making more money on the ps3, they would not have delayed it for the Bluraystation. the truth is, EA knows they will make more money on 360 in dlc then ps3 and wii COMBINED and if they get some pocket change to keep you lemmings waiting, why should they care about you lemmings. Tell sony to do that.

Of course EA had nothing to say about the DLC for Wii at E3.. Rock Band wasnt even out yet for Wii for them to talk about.. Haha, as a wii owner, I don't see myself getting rb. ever. Somehow GHIII can have online when RB couldn't, that's laziness. I'll be happy with GHWT. :P

how does ACTIVISION manage to make the GH for the wii almost on par with the 360 and PS3? but Harmonix and EA struggle?

i mean wii RB had no DLC just disks in store with more songs (and yes it was cheaper then buying individual tracks) but it made a lot of people miss it. and now its second itteration is coming after 09.. delayed again for the wii.. its kinda BS.. i mean i almost bought RB but when i heard how GIMPED it was and that GH4 would be out a few months later i waited and made a first day reservation. now RB is screwing the WII owners again..

I'm surprised that they did this even though GH3 was one of the best selling games on the wii (3rd party) GH3 was only missing DLC on the wii.. but it was forgivable cause i could play co-op with my cousin in another city.. and play online and go to the website and see my progress.. and that impressed me..

we all know that 360 and PS3 and Wii can't play together and its fine.. but at least they have a place to compare..

and GH TUNES is BRILLIANT.. only thing thats missing is the VOCALS but think about the possibilities.. i can't wait to see whats up there and best of all its FREE.. yes.. FREE.. me and my 2GB SD card will be so happy.. they worked with NINTENDO and found a solution to DLC and it works.. i hope all games have DLC coming up on the wii.. i mean they few lines of code that are needed are out there, its not a mystery.. just that GUITAR HERO is SO MUCH BETTER..

forget Rock Band if you own a WII.. get the one and only GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR, if you have PS3 or 360 its just CHOICE...

**also.. WORLD TOUR is all wireless on the wii (minus the mic) unlike Rockband.. and i hate CABLES!
