Here’s something that you never knew that you needed until now. Xbox Australia has today announced that they’ve created a greaseproof controller to celebrate the full release of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox One.

their controllers really are second to none I agree, years ahead of switch and ps4. Hopefully with their new acquisitions and investment we'll see more exclusives.

How? What do Xbox controllers outside of the Elite have that the PS4 and Switch controllers lack? Certainly not technology BOTH have far more tech going on than the Xbox controllers. Comfortability? Rubber grips? Batteries?

Regular controller has:
Texturized analog concave sticks.
Wifi for controllers for better audio quality.
Better shoulder buttons with less throw distance for quicker presses.
Concave triggers with haptic feedback.
Texturized back for better grip

Subjectively I prefer the precision and concavity f the analog sticks on the Xbox controller vs sonys

@Sam Fisher this is true I wipe my controllers down like once a week because having people over you never know who doesn't wash their hands after the bathroom visit. I use a toothbrush to clean the inside of where our hands wrap around the controller there's lots of caked on crap there. You get an upvote. :)

Greaseproof here means being easier to clean off. Less of a matte texture for oils to get into, but the controller will feel more slick anyways because of it's smooth finish. Which, might end up feeling more "greasy" anyways. Their marketing is just always trying to make a big deal about any little thing.

I've replaced both my XBO controller for PC, and my DS4 because after years of use the texture wore away. This isn't a bad idea, as long as the grip/texture is comfortable.
