Riot dragged further into the mire in PAX West sexism controversy

Riot Games walked into a PR blunder by excluding those who identify as men from a panel they set up for PAX West. Cue row and internet rage. Cue fans and Riot staff going back and forth in threads and tweets. Cue facepalms from onlookers.

The story is too old to be commented.

The Reddit page is on fire, I can't believe the total spin they've done after reports of sexism within their studio surfaced...now they are doing shit like this while showing their own virtue on twitter. They are basically doing this to cover their own asses over those sexism claims from within the studio, it's PR stunt.

Sexism should not be fought with sexism...it's ridiculous.

In the words of Kirk Lazarus... "Never go full retard"

Riot went full retard

This is the type of people who work at riot. They think only men can be sexist, just because more men are pushing harder to get where they are, which is what they are culturally trained to do. It's ironic because these people complain about every last thing, but the one time the other side voices their grievances it's dismissed.

Bonus reddit Riot dev thread with them just calling everyone every ism they can think of just for daring to defy their control and politics

It boggles my mind how they didn't see this coming.....

Can I identify as a woman for a day and still enter? O.o

A prime example of self-sabotage if ever there was one.

Dismissals do not help when we are attempting to grow as a people.
