WTMG's Jordan says, "In HYPERGUN you play as Dewey Owens who is an intern at DevTech, a company that is developing a HYPERGUN that will help destroy the incoming alien invasion."
With seven environment types, limited enemy variety, samey-looking levels, and no multiplayer modes, HYPERGUN starts to feel repetitive after a few runs.
Hypergun is not just a really cool name for some kind of space laser, but it’s also a First-Person-Shooter-Rogue-Lik e or a FPSRL for short.
HYPERGUN puts a comedic and corporate spin on the traditional FPS genre while throwing in just enough rogue-lite elements to dangerously walk the line between replay-ability and mind-numbingly repetitive.
Heard a bit about this, but the only other review on here is a 5/10... going to wait for some other reviews first.
