The open world racing game from publisher Ubisoft and developer Ivory Tower - The Crew 2 - sold 282,710 units first week at retail on consoles, according to VGChartz estimates.
Vgchartz is not accurate. It could be 100 000 less or 200 000 more.
Picked up the Gold edition. I like it so far.
The game review I read said it is a great game--if you didn't play The Crew 1. To their credit, The Crew 1 improved over time.
I'm a fan. Plays better than last NFS.
I never knew there was a market or demand for crew 2
That’s what I’m saying
Theres quite a few people screaming out for arcade racers. This generation has been absolutely dire for them but when they are selling at these kind of figures it's understandable why we are getting less and less of them. Everyone wants to play boring Sims now which just ain't fun IMO.
It's not just that it's the fact when they are made there isn't much fun to be had. Even crew isn't all arcade
I don't know - nor particularly care - if 282,710 is a lot of not, but what I do know is I haven't played and enjoyed any game from the last year or so as much as I have The Crew 2. For outright fun, hugely rubber banded, racing, it's brilliant.
Have you played forza horizon? If you like the crew definitely get horizon 3 or 4 when it comes out blows the crew away imp. Still love to see more arcade racers though feel we don't have enough.
Certainly have. Have played all the Horizon games in fact. FH4 should be stunning and will no doubt take over my game time from The Crew.
The game seems okay so far, I just hate the way cars handle, I can never get used to that it's still a fun game so far there's innovation. even if I decide not to play the game all the way through I like to pay game devs for putting in a good effort and to me this game has heart.
