Iconoclasts is a 2D Metroid platformer where you play as Robin, the mechanic. Your weapons of choice are a HUGE wrench, stun gun, and bomb. The wrench can be used as a weapon and can crank bolts that act as switches.
Iconoclasts is a lovely Metroidvania title by solo developer Joakim Sandberg that initially released back in 2018, and it was praised for its incredible storytelling, beautiful art style, challenging puzzles, and so much more. Jason Capp is here with the Nindie Spotlight on this excellent game.

I'm going to take a stab at this, but I'm pretty sure it's a day to acknowledge and celebrate female achievements and endeavors.
