10 games that belong on the inevitable N64 Classic Edition

I feel the same. IMO Ocarina is the best zelda in the series. Majora's was also very good, though I have a soft spot for Zelda 2 because I grew up with that and it's my second favorite.

Skyward Sword was okay but what made it terrible was an issue I had with the motion controls constantly getting messed up. There were mini-games I couldn't complete because the sword swings became inaccurate after 3 or 4 swings. There was a button to reset the controls and I was pressing that like every 10 seconds the whole time.

I'll be so glad when that gimmick gets left in the dustbin of history where it belongs.

This is where things get hairy with rights and IPs and would prevent a lot of great games from appearing on an N64 Classic (Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, etc)

No to RE2 or Pokemon Stadium for me but definitely add Perfect Dark or Turok 2 on this. I would have loved to see more Rare games. I don't know if that's possible for DK, Banjo or 007. Maybe Castlevania 3D or a game that make suck but I remember loving it, Silicon Valley.

Nintendo own Rare's DK. It's a Nintendo IP. Rare were basically commitioned to make it for Nintendo. And I'm sure Rare (and any other party involved) would agree to other titles being on the N64 mini - for the right price. Everybody wins.

I want to see some more obscure titles that I always wanted but didn't get the chance to play, such as Body Harvest, Win Back and Silicon Valley.

While I loved this gen with the PS1/N64... it is hardest to come back to in terms of enjoyment. RE tank controls, PS1 load times, N64 camera issues, blocky graphics... I mean don’t get me wrong I have some of the best memories of playing games from that era, but man, most have not aged well.

Whilst I do have some doubts whether this will come out at all, even if it does, I don't think they'll get the rights for some games, leaving us without some of the greatest games on the consoles. Then again, if someone hacks it...

What about some other classics like Battle Tanx, NFL Blitz, Mario Party, Rogue Squadron, Donkey Kong, 1080, Mario Golf, Mario Tennis, Paper Mario, and a ton more that are not going to happen because of even harder licensing issues.
