Thank you. Thank you for sticking with it. For not abandoning that which you created. For not taking the easy way out, when your backs were against the wall. For taking the time to give us what we all wanted.
No Man's Sky on Nintendo Switch 2 offers a major leap in graphics and performance over the original release.
"No Man's Sky - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition brings this excellent, constantly evolving space survival adventure to your new Nintendo console in fine style. This is an almost-perfect match for other versions of the game, barring some very minor hiccups here and there.
Combat is still a bit naff, especially in space, and hardcore pirates might not get all they need from the systems in place here, but other than that, this is an almost perfect port of an almighty behemoth of a game. The sky, it seems, really has no limits." - PJ O'Reilly | NintendoLife
Hello Games has secretly worked on a Nintendo Switch 2 version of No Man's Sky. But there's also a new juicy update that lets you be a mayor.
That's a nice little surprise.
Honestly I gotta hand it to Hello Games. They really turned this game into something else with their dedication to it. A rocky start, but the game is unrecognizable to what we had at launch.
MAN, Hello Games just keeps on trucking with this game, and are REALLY showing other developers how to earn some good will with their fans.
Stoked for Light No Fire.
Ugh...reminds me of a extreme nintendo loyalist sharing their personal letter to reggie online. Leg thrusting fan alert. 🚨
Don't care of any of this or have any opinion really, but I hope the letter started with "HELLO GAMES"!
"For taking the time to give us what we all wanted."
No they didn't give us ALL what we wanted.
"...you guys have really given us the game you promised two years ago."
No they didn't, not even close and they can't with the engine that they built. You just don't remember all the promises made. Multiplayer wasn't even really the point and them adding "4 player" multiplayer isn't what they promised either. I would rehash all the crap they promised (not one of which was base building or third person) but at this point it isn't happening and will never happen.
I am glad you are having fun and they have changed your views but they haven't done and can't overcome the promises made, lies told, and handling of the fallout you know like never taking responsibility for putting all the hype out there, or apologizing (actually feeling sorry) for the product you sold everyone.
