PS3 vs 360: Charting The Exclusive Content

"Exclusive DLC is a popular weapon in today's console war. Sony worldwide studios head Shuhei Yoshida told Eurogamer at this year's Tokyo Game Show that publishers are all moving to multi-platform publishing, and as a result expects to "see more announcements about exclusive downloadable content." Microsoft paid millions to secure "Grand Theft Auto IV"'s additional content. This trend isn't going away."

Because stupid ppl. keep falling for it. Seriously if you paid 5 bucks for either Yoda or Vader you're dumb. And it's gullible ppl. like you with no control whatsoever that keep encouraging companies to keep raping us with this crap.

I read the other day that they're gonna charge money for added difficulty levels in Mega Man. Difficulty levels! You see where this is going?

Stuff that should have been included in the game from day 1 is being left out intentionally simply because idiots who HAVE to buy downloadable content will buy it just because it's there.

What more can I say, keep encouraging them by spending ur money so you get an incomplete product when you lay down ur 60 bucks only to spend even more money when they release stuff that was supposed to be there in the 1st place.

...and think exclusive tidbits in games are a waste of developer resources when not done in a timely manner and fashion. Mentioning in particular the GTA4 situation really was just a slap to the face of all those people who purchased the 360 version specifically for additional content but have yet to receive it.
