Ultrawide support or death 💀

What, you don't start with the minimal PC specs and work your way up from there?

Lynx02071881d ago

Why? unless someone has potato pc it doesn't make sense. I always start from the highest and working my way down.

Enigma_20991878d ago

Wouldn't working the other way ensure that EVERY PC build wold work with it? Wouldn't even a potato PC make a console look sad?

Lynx02071878d ago

@Enigma but working from high to low it tooks less time to find the best specs that works on your PC. "Potato PC makes console look sad"? I don't know what is the point of that statement here. I have i5-8600K, gtx1080 and half of my gaming time I spend on PS4.

I think I'll wait a few weeks after release to get it. Hopefully they release a patch to fix those concerns and random crashes they mentioned.

kevnb1883d ago (Edited 1883d ago )

Or a driver update, these guys don’t seem very savvy though. One guy thinks his cpu is too weak yet his resolution drops hard when he sets it to dynamic... they should probably just turn off that volumetric setting that tanks FPS.

traumadisaster1883d ago (Edited 1883d ago )

The biggest issue is a lot of pc specific options I test on and off and can't tell enough difference to justify dropping fps. There will be specific options that due make a difference and those are the ones to focus on.

No kidding I have fun going through each option through each level to see where it makes no difference to me.

kevnb1883d ago

That’s not really an issue, and if it is that’s what consoles are for.

kevnb1883d ago

How can I take this seriously when he was surprised it was demanding just because some of the textures are low res? It’s the geometry and a few other bells and whistles that make this game demanding, high res textures simply need more vram...
