Any way you look at it, The Guild 2: Venice is pointless. It provides almost nothing new, includes none of the content in the original game or the first expansion, and even omits the multiplayer mode of play included in both of its predecessors. Instead of taking you for a ride on a gondola, all this expansion does is take you for a ride.

JoWooD Entertainment AG has released a new patch for The Guild 2, solving all known issues with the engine and introduces several changes to game balance based on JoWooD’s intense cooperation with the game’s fan community. The patch is compatible with all versions of The Guild 2, including The Guild 2 Gold Edition, The Guild 2 Universe Edition, The Guild 2 Royal Edition and the Pirates of the Hanse expansion.
JoWooD has issued a new patch for The Guild 2: Venice, updating to v3.5 the second add-on for The Guild 2. Among various bugfixes, problems with the load / save function are fixed. There may be still issues with Quickload and Quicksave on some systems, so it is recommended always using the save via menu function.
