The Crew 2 is at its core a solid racing game. However, it suffers from a number of flaws. The biggest being the loot system, but also the low amount of races that make use of the transformation mechanic and the downgraded visual quality. Like the original The Crew, The Crew 2 will probably not leave a lasting impression on people. A shame, really, since with some tweaking it could be a worthy racing game to stand beside titles like Forza or Gran Turismo. My suggestion would be to at least wait for the announced free updates to drop before picking this up.
Despite being six years old, The Crew 2 has smashed its concurrent Steam player count record thanks to a steep discount.
The thing was a damn buck lol. Of course. I grabbed it on both PC and console because why not?
Ubisoft revealed that they will add official Offline Modes to both The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest.
Welp, just grabbed Crew 2 because, hell, it was a buck. Let's see if they hold to their word, being they killed the original and are likely to do it here as well.
Finally! Offline modes for The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest—this is huge! Ubisoft really listened to the community on this one. Now we can enjoy the open-world racing experience without worrying about server issues or internet connection drops. Can’t wait to hit the roads solo and explore at my own pace. This is a game-changer for both casual players and those who just want to cruise without distractions!
We've played The Crew Motorfest, which joins Forza Horizon in the modern open-world racing genre - and that's not the only similarity.
FH is not on PS so im sure theres people out there happy seeing this.
