Natalie writes: "After seeing the big news that a new Devil May Cry 5 is finally coming out at E3 2018, I simply can't wait to find out what this PS4 and Xbox One version of this iconic game series."
Dante was chronologically last seen riding in Hell on a motorcycle in Devil May Cry 2. The first trailer for Devil May Cry 5 ends with him entering the battlefield on a motorcycle. Could this mean that with an aged looking Dante that Capcom is finally making a game that chronologically takes place after DMC2?
There are a number of interesting things about this game. - Nero now losing his arm makes him very similar to Gene from God Hand, the very character he was inspired by. - One of the announcements made at Microsoft's E3 2014 press conference was Scalebound, a now-cancelled game that was developed by PlatinumGames and featured a protagonist named Drew who was more or less looked a lot like Nero. Fast-forward to E3 2018, and not only does Devil May Cry 5 get announced at the same company's conference, but the game features Nero with a new appearance and hairstyle that resembles that of Drew. - Devil May Cry 5 is being developed with the RE Engine, the same game engine that was used for Resident Evil 7: biohazard and the 2019 remake of Resident Evil 2 which is set to release before this game, just like how the original Devil May Cry was created on a Resident Evil engine for RE4. - We finally have a new Devil May Cry game that’s set in the main timeline being developed at the same time a new Bayonetta game is being developed.
Nice and all... But E3 was when?
