While this may Shining's first return in the west since the PlayStation 2 days, Shining Resonance Refrain is the not the shining return for the series that fans have been looking for.

eh, don't write it off from just this single review score there's literally another review on N4G that says the game is "A Tale That Shines"... clever folks, here. They also gave it an 82/100... so I feel this might be a love it or hate it kind of game.

I think people who grew up playing rpgs in the 90s, like myself, are generally easier to please than younger gamers who only started playing rpgs within the last 10 years.
