I love how 4 of these a ps4 exclusives. Go team Sony 😁

I would have put Detroit higher, but it's a nontraditional type of game that is going to be polarizing. Fortunately for me I can enjoy things that don't just copy whatever is most popular at the time.

Wow, I only played 2 of those games and I only played Monster Hunter for a few hours. Far Cry 5 got a bit repetitive after a shile. Yakuza 6 was better than those 2 games by far. I'll try God of War soon but my back log is calling. If this is the 10 best games of 2018 so far, it's not been a good 6 months for games in my opinion

rivaldoo7772123d ago

Yeah Inwould put shadow of colossus on 2nd place instead of far cry 5. I couldn't finish the game due to its repetitiveness. It got old after I beat John seed and at the time I was going for Jacob seed, damn it was boring af

I finished it before the DLC came out and I bought the Gold edition and can't bring myself to go back. I will at some point but there are so many other games I have in my backlog, only getting to Forza Horizon 3 now.

I forgot Nintendo still had a system out. LOL

A Late Look: Monster Hunter: World

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "While it was a mixed pleasure overall - at times exhilarating, at others agonizing - I would have to say I enjoyed my time with Monster Hunter: World and found it to be surprisingly addicting. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that I was surprised by how little had changed from previous titles, given how this particular entry took the series to unheard levels of popularity, but while it retains both positives and negatives from them, at the very least it’s a stellar-looking game that brings more freedom to the hunt than any of its predecessors (Monster Hunter Rise could possibly be a different story, but that, my friends, is a game for another article)."

Played and enjoyed Far Cry, Far Cry 3 and 4 campaigns .

4 wasn’t so bad

Pagan Min was pretty entertaining

Skuletor41d ago

Yeah, 4 was good, was hard choosing which Golden Dawn member to side with, when they were both pieces of sh!t.
I've beaten all the main entries except 2 and 6, ended up uninstalling 6 to download something else instead.

I'd love a far cry pack with the original PC game (not the half assed port on ps360) instincts, predator even a port of far cry 2 to modern consoles back when these games had their own identity and weren't far cry 3 cut and pastel

Demetrius41d ago

Still one of my most favorite franchises along with assassins creed

Same here, I don't know why these games get so much hate. I've thoroughly enjoyed every single one of them, with only a couple of exceptions. I wish they'd hurry up and announce Far Cry 7. The only thing I'm concerned about is the rumoured time limit.
