As long as EA is behind all this, there is always room to be skeptical.

winter_hill2541d ago

This won't be one of those gaas/online only kind of games will it? If it is, f*** 'em I won't touch it.

lazyboyblue2540d ago

Yup. It's why the closed the original project down. Too single player focused.

AK912540d ago

This game well certainly not be for fans but for GaaS.

KiRBY30002539d ago

It's a disease you get when you play too many EA games, money starts farting out of your wallet.

Zeke682539d ago

@BlackDoomAx
GaaS = Game as a Service.
They sell you half the game or less and make you pay extra for a tons of addons until you own the complete game 2-3 years later but now you have paid 300-700 % more for something you should have got day 1.
Often includes multiplayer parts with servers shut down the day they can't milk you for more money.
Thank the god for single-player games !!! (without GaaS of course !!)

LordoftheCritics2539d ago

When you gotta pay extra to release.

Gaaaaaas.

lociefer2540d ago

Wow, i just realized i can't get excited for an open world starwars game.. thanks EA, take all that GaaS, inhale it, fart it, then shove it up ur ass again

zerocarnage2539d ago

Why there have been a couple of pc star wars open world games that have done brilliant in terms of player base on the game.

lociefer2539d ago

EA killed all the fun for me

bloop2539d ago

I can't get excited for anything Star Wars since Disney killed the franchise.

Sam Fisher2539d ago

Bingo, disney truly ruined the franchise.

Hardiman2539d ago

So this is the game that replaced Visceral and Amy's SP game! Gotcha and I expect EA to do what they do and for that I probably will pass!

Beacon Patrol, a Cooperative Digital Board Game, Will Sail Onto Steam in 2025

"Digital board games can be tons of fun, especially when they're cooperative. That's what's in store for Beacon Patrol from Assemble Entertainment. Based on the real-life board game by Torben Ratzlaff, Beacon Patrol has players work together to explore a map and create a network of coastal paths, all by placing tiles. It's a lot like Carcassonne and Kingdomino, but set on the high seas. The upcoming Steam version will support 4-player local co-op, and there's a single-player demo right now," says Co-Optimus.
