of course it is improved. usually those demos are 3+ month old, sometimes 6+ month old.

zivtheawesome2550d ago

Nah the E3 demo was only ready a week before E3 I heard (I’m talking about the playable demo not the PS showcase demo). But good to see they are working fast

How do you know are you at insomniac man I hate it when people get on here and at like they back door info if what you saying is true hit us with the link that said that

So one random dude says 3 months and everyone is happy, then another random dude says a week and everyone is sad?

The gameplay was amazing and will be indicative of what we'll be playing this fall. Move on.

@RememberThe357

It's not a matter of happy or sad, it's a matter of defending the truth and stop the spread of misinformation. He's right though, by the time you see a demo/verticle slice it's already months old, ESPECIALLY if it's playable. each one of these have to be play tested, gone over several times by higher ups, and sent through the approval process. often times having to go through that pipeline multiple times due to not quite being up to snuff AKA not approved for public viewing. Not to mention these usually have a deadline so it would start well ahead of time to give lots of breathing room to insure it makes that deadline. What company in their right mind would start that process 1 week before the deadline when it's riding on something as massive as E3?

Logistically it just doesn't make any sense.

Ziv

No way those things are ready way in advance not a week before. E3 build of every single game is at minium 3-6 months old

Remember

Some developers have done behind the scenes and openly spoke up about E3 demo's being old builds of the games

I am not random. I read news, articles, developers interviews.
I took this comment from my expierence by watching all those interviews. Most of the developers says that those demos are 3+ month even older, sometimes even 9 month. Those demos are done in advance, pre- show, it is planned. We know already when next E3 will be.
Even this E3 demo is not approved by Sony or Insomniac to be released into PSN, but still they have a demo to show.
