Eggplante talks about the games that Nintendo didn't show that were expected, and lead to their show being a huge miss as a result.
VGChartz's Evan Norris: "During my time at PAX East, Sorlie walked me through two titles: the original Bubsy on SNES (his personal favorite) and the now infamous Bubsy 3D, the franchise's first foray into three dimensions. Each game in the anthology will feature the quality-of-life features common to Limited Run's Carbon Engine, including rewind, save states, screen & filter options, and even an optional "boost mode" that overclocks the system slightly to remove slowdown."
My one friend and I loved Bubsy 1. We used to compare him to Sonic all the time. So with us and the one person from this article it has at least three fans. 🤣
I was so lucky as a kid my parents convinced me to rent Busby 3d first because I was full steam ahead on buying it with my pocket money based on the advertising alone.
LEGO DC Super Villains has an ingenious premise that could work wonders in a future LEGO Star Wars game, whenever it comes out.
They kinda did in the Lego Clone Wars game. One of the stages or two was devoted to young Boba Fett, Bossk, Dengar and Aurra Sing. Shame they never did the other seasons in Lego form. I believe it only covered the first 3 and pilot turned movie.
Gearbox’s second expansion for Risk of Rain 2 expands on one enemy faction, promising plenty of new content, and players should know what to expect.
Awful show which is hard to say because people will think you are saying you don't like Smash Bros...I do, I'll probably get it but wasting your show on that because you have nothing else to show is sad.
You know what the problem is? They keep revealing things at smaller Nintendo Directs throughout the year, they shouldn't do new game reveals at those smaller directs, they should be doing extending in depth showings of games already known like what they've just done with the Smash Bros E3 show. If they do a show like this as a Smash Direct closer to the games reveal then it keeps people informed and people know what to expect from that reveal.
Bayonetta 3
Metroid Prime 4
Pokemon 2019
Pokemon Lets Go (not even a new trailer)
Animal Crossing (must be being worked on)
No new IP
Zelda spin off game
As a Nintendo fan, I am really disappointed. I bought Switch for his 2017 games but I don't see big games for the console in 2018.
I watched & personally for me I just can't get into these Nintendo games but I see the comments folks are leaving expecting to see games knowing the system is just a little over a year old & folks are not going to see every known big title from Nintendo in 15 months some of these other known Nintendo games take time to develop.
Disappointed...
Pretty underwhelming direct
