Undead Labs to make State of Decay 3 says Head of Microsoft Studios

Eggplante interviewed Head of Microsoft Studios Matt Booty who shared that a clear goal of Undead Labs is to make State of Decay 3.

If you were remotely paying attention to anything Undead Labs wanted to continue the franchise on their own. MS is not making them do a damn thing. UL is yet to make their biggest Zombie game yet.

Why not give them one of your IPs that you have buried away Microsoft?

Banjo Kazooie, Voodo Vince, Brute Force, Blinx, Jade Empire, Perfect Dark, etc. Anything but a sequel to a game that just released it's 2nd game in the series.

A shared base and story progress, vehicles with guns. I don't want to magically teleport my community into their game world, WE are the community.
