When tinyBuild jokingly announced that they were going to make a battle royale game as part of the announcement for Secret Neighbor, it turns out that it was but a distraction to cover the fact that they had an ACTUAL battle royale game waiting in the wings...one that teams up with the popular webcomic Cyanide & Happiness, no less. From the PC Gaming Show, here's the debut trailer for Rapture Rejects.
Kinglink says "Let’s talk about microtransactions and what they do with game design. Hello, I’m Kinglink and I’m back again with another discussion. This is probably the most discussed topic about gaming recently especially with the recent Star Wars: Battlefront 2 kerfuffle. But I really don’t want to just say microtransactions are bad from a consumer standpoint. I mean it’s obvious I think."
James Martin of GameGrin previews Rapture Rejects, writing: "Most of you reading this review have likely heard of Cyanide & Happiness (C&H). Its unique art style and own brand of dark, often controversial, humour was first published in 2005. Since then, Explosm, the creators of C&H, have partnered with Galvanic Games to create – you guessed it – a battle royale. A pretty enjoyable one at that, surprisingly."
Kinglink says "Welcome again,
One Month of 2019 down! This month was exciting, we started off with two high profile games, Yakuza 0, and The Division. However, as the month went on we even got a surprise of Rapture Rejects. It’s a diverse month with three different opinions on the game, so let’s get to it."
