Kingdom Hearts III Gets Release Dates; Coming January 29th.

Square Enix showcased Kingdom Hearts III at the Orchestra Concert held in Los Angeles, and finally release dates were revealed for the west and Japan.

It’s probably a good thing, because the holiday season will be too congested and this date seems to side step that entirely. Plus now that we’ve got a specific date slightly further than expected, I imagine it’s far less likely to see any delays.

Japan gets Kingdom Hearts 3 on Jan 25th, 2019 while the West gets it on on Jan 29th, 2019 for PS4 and Xbox One.

4 days is the shortest amount of time that the western market had to wait to receive a Kingdom Hearts game after it releases first in Japan.

Yeah, I'm stoked it's finally coming out but that is my biggest concern. If it was August or September or something I would be surprised if there was another delay, but being another 7 1/2 months out means we could still see it get pushed back another few months. Here's hoping it isn't!

Honestly expected the small delay because of the crowded holiday season, Red Dead especially. Not a bad thing by any means. More time to polish the game, and more time to revisit the older Kingdom Hearts games.

What is the benefit behind releasing such a game for Xbox? When Xbox One gamers don't care about anything isn't shooters or esport with few exceptions? At least its a fact that all FF games ever released on Xbox since XI till FFXV didnt sell more than the original FFXIII on PS3 or barely equal to it. I would be so optimistic and say this will sell 600k copy on Xbox.

I knew immediately when they gave that late 2018 window of September-November it was too good to be true. Glad it's getting a concrete date now but I still think it might be delayed until April or something.
