All I want for E3 is GameCube on Nintendo Switch

Mike Minotti of Venturebeat writes: "GameCube on the Switch has been a rumor since before Nintendo’s newest console came out. In China, the Nvidia Shield (which uses similar hardware to the Switch) offers GameCube downloads. A box art leak last week for GameCube controllers for the Switch (although this could just be for the next Super Smash Bros.) was another tease."

Economically, I understand that console manufacturers have to produce new machines on a regular basis, but I think there should be an upward compatibility of old games.

But Switch doesn’t have analog triggers like GameCube did. Analog triggers were important features in many GameCube games

To be honest, I didn't like Sunshine, Odyssey is much better. But ok, gamecube had great games, a VC is always welcome.

Yeah Odyssey was alright. It was the first time where I felt like Mario is starting to run out of ideas. Galaxy 1 and 2 were way better than Odyssey but imo it's gonna be hard to top mario2,3,world, and 64.

Sunshine sucks. SMO is a masterpiece. Outside of Windwaker/Smash and Metroid Gamecube had some weak first party. Double Dash is not very good and Nintendo never tried that game again. Sunshine is clunky and sloppy for Nintendo standards. Any worse and it would have been a Sonic Team game.

I'd prefer a GameCube mini

I'd love something equivalent to their VC in general, up to and including GameCube, but sadly Nintendo hates money so that probably won't happen.

And diablo 3 for switch. Rest I don't mind not knowing.
