At $5 a pop for each character it was a kind of a joke.

They didn't do that to give people an option. They did it because the business model would make them more money than selling everything for $60.

Hate to sound like a hater... But this looks pretty much like the same game again... A more realistic graphics engine which I feel make the characters look even more disturbing. Having that anime look but realistic textures make them look terrifying. Look at Jann Lee.

DOA for me is always a great alternative to Tekken in that its the opposite. Very simple button moves but very very deep if you know how to use them in different combos with the parry and counters. I remember destroying some of my freind by just using counters with Li Feng. It was a glorious. Glad we are getting a new one. Oh and Bayman love love him
