Ubisoft revealed that they will add official Offline Modes to both The Crew 2 and The Crew Motorfest.
Welp, just grabbed Crew 2 because, hell, it was a buck. Let's see if they hold to their word, being they killed the original and are likely to do it here as well.

Now we can enjoy the open-world racing experience without worrying about server issues or internet connection drops. Can’t wait to hit the roads solo and explore at my own pace. We've played The Crew Motorfest, which joins Forza Horizon in the modern open-world racing genre - and that's not the only similarity.
FH is not on PS so im sure theres people out there happy seeing this.
The first Crew wasn't that good or a must. I mean it feels sooooo slow and driving felt as Watch Dog not a racing game.
It was fun for a minute. But the cars handle like 1970s Buicks. And i was not able to catch the planes even though you don't let off the throttle the entire time. It does look pretty though. I will need to see more to determine if it's worth $60 or wait for a sale.

I REALLY want to like this series, but the driving just feels aweful and the amount of handholding this game does in its physics is insulting. Somehow it feels even worse that the first one. Probably because they had to spread their efforts to include boats and planes now. Evrything feels so floaty and unresponsive. Tweaking the controls help but not by much. Their solution to that is to make you slide around anything you hit so its pretty hard to get penalized for hitting things so you dont need it to be that responsive. They also keep you from tilting more that like 10 degrees in either direction, so while they give you points for stunts. You cant ACTUALLY stunt.
In short i had hopes that this one would improve over the first, but instead of improving they just added more crap to it. Ill be playing onrush instead, much more fun to play imo
