Damn they need to add a strecth goal for PS4 so i can support it.

thatguyhayat2214d ago

Same, if theres a goal for it to come to ps4 I'd definitely support it. Looks great

Neonridr2214d ago

well you could always buy a Switch. I know that's a stretch though :P

Good to see Pokemon get some decent looking competition, it's the main issue with some games like Pokemon or even The Sims...the games don't really have any direct competition to push them more.

Neonridr2214d ago

but the mainline Pokemon games are great. While I agree that competition is better for the industry, it's not like the core Pokemon titles have been garbage or anything like that.

-Foxtrot2213d ago

Come on, they aren't all great, there's been some pretty lacklustre ones over the years even when they get great scores.

They add gimmicks rather then good features, it started to go downhill when they added Mega evolutions, Z Moves and Ultra Beasts.

"it's not like the core Pokemon titles have been garbage or anything like that"

I didn't say they were garbage or that bad...they just don't seem to add anything to really push the series forward with how long we wait in between each new game. Same goes with the Sims.

Neonridr2213d ago

@Foxtrot - so in your opinion they are bad regardless of how the general public feels? Just like BOTW is a bad game in your books even though it won GOTY from so many publications?

I am not saying they are perfect, and yes they can fall trap to some moneygrabbing a-la Ultra Sun and Moon being re-released on the same platform. But they are solid games.

Still, as you said, the competition is welcome and I will definitely keep my eyes on this project.

Yeah, I miss Digimon but sadly they were never able to find a successful game formula like Pokemon has and just gave up. (we get a new portable game every now and then but your digimon decides to die mid-campaign and you have to evolve them back to adult so you can keep progressing and that just s*cks).

Majin-vegeta2213d ago

We have 3 current digimon titles on PS4
Cyber sleuth
New world order(this one has the type of game play you're talking bout)
Cyber sleuth:Hackers memory

SarcasticDuck2213d ago (Edited 2213d ago )

@Majin-vegeta those are just ports from the PSVita *and i know there's also the formula of collecting them like pokemon but with 3v3 fights but that doesn't really work because a digimon could digivolve into different paths so it's evolutions by requirements instead of just lvling up

blackblades2214d ago

Whatever happen to the pokemon clone collect'em for ps4/vita.

Foraoise2214d ago

thought about this the other day

ninsigma2214d ago

This looks pretty cool actually!

Temtem Is Nearly Perfect For The Steam Deck, But Not Quite

TheGamer's Ben Sledge says: "I’m playing Temtem while I wait for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. For the most part, that’s because Legends: Arceus was a great concept but isn’t very replayable and I’d rather crawl naked across a field of Ferrothorn than play Brilliant Diamond again. I spent longer with Sword & Shield’s competitive modes than most people, but even I have tailed off ranked at this point. So, a Pokemon-like it is.

I’m enjoying Temtem so far, much more than I did when I played in beta. I love watching other tamers’ Temtem follow them around, as it inspires me to level up and evolve my own party so I, too, can show off an awesome monster to strangers over the internet. I’m just cool like that. The battles are great too, offering far more strategy than any Pokemon game I’ve ever played (official ones, at least), engaging me and forcing me to think carefully about my moves in even the most basic matches."
