Yakuza series producer states the PS4 remasters are for 'new overseas fans'

From Destructoid: "During a live stream this morning, Yakuza series producer Toshihiro Nagoshi dropped a nugget of info that is sure to get fans' attention. According to him, the main reason for the existence of the Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 remasters on PS4 is for "new overseas fans." This is likely in relation to the massive popularity boost the series saw in the US with the release of Yakuza 0 last year, though it could just be the generally good reception each new game has been receiving."

It's great that this series has gained some popularity since 0. 3 and 4 are great as well.

PS4 makes niche Japanese 3rd party games sell way way more in the west than in Japan itself.
What a complete reversal of fortunes!
Sony was right to launch PS4 in the west first. They kinda predicted this phenomenon.

I mean, Japan has a population of around 130 million. The "West" is quite a bit larger than that.

good now question is will we have to wait till 2019 to get one collection for all 3 remasters or will we will be receiving 3 separate releases(i think for sake of long time fans and newer fans they should release it in one collection so more people are enticed to pick it up

could you please do something about few other missing yakuza games that we the fans want like Ishin. Dead souls is such an underrated game if that game could be remastered with up to date shooter controls the story was the one of best ever for a zombie games
