Jarren: The Battle Royale genre has been pretty popular as of late and everyone is itching to play the best one that their gaming system can offer for them. As I mainly use the PlayStation 4, the only battle royale game available to me was Fortnite. While fun and enjoyable, I was getting a bit tired of playing it over and over again and wanted something else to spice up the variety.
Imagine how excited I was when H1Z1 Battle Royale released for the PS4.
H1Z1 does a lot of things differently than what I’m used to. And I’d like to share those thoughts of what I like and what I didn’t.
PlayStation Plus Subscribers often get some neat freebies and it seems H1Z1 fans are the next to reap the benefits.
Season 3 of H1Z1: Battle Royale is on the way and in addition, the developers are working on a new patch. Fixing issues, balancing weapons, and adding a much requested third-person ADS.
H1Z1 is a large-scale, high-intensity multiplayer shooter comprised of a variety of new fight-to-the-death game modes.
My only gripe is the wait time to get into a match, especially when exiting a match. Though this is something i know is going to be fixed as the beta continues. Also why can't i move forward when parachuting? again beta but kind of bothersome
The washed out colours, the N64 textures inside the walls of buildings, the lack of AA (jaggies everywhere) the UI the frame drops when in a fire fight, running people over not killing them, the fog, the circle going to quickly. It's a good game and the driving and gunplay are really well done but it needs alot of work and judging from the PC version I don't expect a lot of them to be addressed.
PUBG>Fortnite>H1Z1
It's definitely the worst of the bunch!
The game looks horrible. PS3 era maybe even ps2
