E3 2018 Xbox predictions: Everything we expect to see from Microsoft

It's that time of year again. E3 2018 is almost upon us, promising tons of new games, new platform announcements, and new hardware. But what does E3 2018 mean for Xbox and Microsoft this June 10th?

Seriously, that is the best fit for Gears if they want to try something different. A Gears Tactics game I am 100% down for. Anything that gives me more Xcom like play.

A Halo racer would be cool. Racing on warthogs and scorpion tanks as well as banshees.... Or a MS all star battle royale with guest appearances by blinx, conker and joana dark

I wouldn't mind a cart racer starring Rare characters (with Blinx..why not). There was some concept art for this already that was pitched to MS.

Every console I feel should have their own cart racing game with their own characters Mario style.

You can already do that in Halo lol. You clearly don't play halo. The thing that makes Halo so great besides it's core mechanics is the fact it's more than just a fps. It can be a platformer, racer, tp Pacman, tp Jenga survival, arcade, sports, etc, possibilities are endless thanks to forge and gametypes.

That's actually a really solid idea. But it should have it's own unique spin, like Mario + Rabbids for example. There's a lot of potential there.

New AAA's for me. Let Coalition and 343 do different franchises. A painter with tons of talent gets bored painting the same thing over and over. It once wowed his audience but now they want to look at something brand new and different. They're world renowned painting but hes super talented let him paint other stuff.

That's 343 and Coalition I don't understand this bondage of being tied down doing the same franchises for eternity. Maybe that's part of MS weird policy's or something who knows but the fact they haven't done anything new is eerie and baffling.

Wishful thinking: I would like Phil to come out and introduce new projects from these two company's. You see the logo come up and you hear "from the creators of Halo or Coalition brings a new adventure"

No, I want my Halo on a consistent basis. Not much of a gears fan so IDGAF what the coalition do. Just keep my Halo coming. Why don't ppl say nothing about Mario zelda, etc? Halo has only had 5-6 mainline games yet ppl act like it's on 16

gangsta_red - How well would that sell? 500k first day and 350k get returned the next day lol. That's a terrible idea for a console who's player base largely wouldn't support that kind of game.

I'm personally not concern about sales. I'm more interested in games and the idea of a tactics type game is great.

I agree 100% - diversity in games is what we all need. At the end of the day sales are important, not record breaking sales - sales.

I would be hoping for more from MS - I just cant see it happening. The best things they've done have been Cuphead and Ori.

Halo and Gears can't carry them forever. And they need successful risks. Sea of Thieves and State of Decay isn't one of them.

Except we have had new IPs like QB, Ryse, Cuphead, Ashen, State and Sea etc etc. So not really sure where you keep saying MS is incapable of new IPs.

But we have had one new Halo and one new Gears...but for some reason this translates to Xbox only having Gears or Halo.
