The great visuals and stunning assets of the Ark franchise are not enough to save ARK Park from mundanity. The game poorly imitates the core elements of Survival Evolved and results in an anaemic and frustrating experience that is further marred by technical challenges and boring content.

"I was a dinosaur kid – you know, those children who are obsessed with T-Rex toys and only wear shirts if they have a Stegosaurus on them. Jurassic Park was my favourite movie growing up. Heck, it’s still up there today. So I was thrilled to get to play the retail disc of Ark Park VR – a virtual reality game that throws you into an island theme park full of dinosaurs. But whilst I expected a virtual reality version of the wonderful Dorling Kindersley Dinosaur Hunter, I got something a little different."
John Santina writes: "Ark Park brings dinosaurs to VR with a level of polish not seen in other titles. Putting on my VR headset felt like stepping back in time to a prehistoric world – at least for a while. In my mind, it is the best dinosaur experience available on VR to date – but that doesn’t mean that it is perfect. "
"ARK Park", the dinosaur-themed multiplayer online adventure developed and published by Snail Games, will be available as a physical disc (Standard Edition) for the first time in North America, Europe, and Australia starting today.

"Its no better so on par at the very least."
- Ah ha, I see...Well, if that's the case, then I'll pass on it.
