Only couple days left until review embargo lift. There is one positive review of Detroit Become Human, but we have to wait and see.

Having played the demo, I have a partial review and the one for me that matters. My own. Can't wait for Friday.

I’m nervous about this and check my expectations. It’s like doing final exams and wait for the results.

The demo was terrific, but the media has had it out for this game. I'm actually worried reviews will be unfair.

@Tyler,

I expect this as well. Its amazing how much of the game media want to promote games as art yet when someone like Cage attempts to transcend the traditional fare his attempts are graded against a wholly different set of standards. In any event I will be enthralled. Blade Runner is my favorite Science Fiction film ever and possibly my top on any list. It asks those basic questions, "Where do I come from?", "Where am I going?", "How long do I have?" while wrestling with "What does it take to be human?" and "What do I do when I meet my god?" and I see many of these subjects being brought to the surface in this game. Since I first saw the Kara demo I wanted it to evolve into a game. Though I will always rail against personal opinion in any review, such ill conceived pieces will not lessen my enjoyment. I want the game to receive high scores justly so that Sony purchases QD and allows Cage and crew to continue pushing gaming with new experiences.

@UC,

I am not checking my personal expectations. those from standardless reviewers, sure. But the demo has already shown me what to expect and I couldn't be happier. The demo presented a scene which I have watched in videos time and again yet I spent days in that situation and was utterly captivated.

Yup, I played the demo... then played it again... and then played it again and again for the different outcomes. As soon as I was done MY review was complete and I pre-ordered the game. :)

my most awaited ps4 game coming up, few more days :)

anyone know how we get the soundtrack? hoping its not locked to ps4.

I'm looking forward to this game precisely because of the themes covers, adn the choices it forces the player to make. IMHO games ARE, and MUST BE allowed to tackle mature real life themes, and game creators should never be castigated for doing so in a game. If books and movies can do it without a second thought, why not games? I'm just going to leave this here for the SJW's - https://www.youtube.com/wat...

Thanks for the vid. I totally agree.
However I dont know why things would not be straightforward. A video game is a piece of art. The creators should be able to express their talent freely and break away from the retarded attitude in video games as a medium.
DCage was spot on when he asked Eurogamer journalist if he would ask the same questions if it was a movie. The journalist lied saying he would. Game developers should not have to justify what they do or why they do it. They should only be judged on how well they do it, and even that should be respectful.

I guess i am the only few of those who didnt play the Demo and wants to experience the game when released.. Can't wait..

Deebo_slice178d ago

I had the same thought. I went ahead and played it since it was the same mission from e3 last year. We've seen it already.
