Destiny 2 - Expansion II: Warmind | Review | TheProGamer

Destiny 2 started off extremely well but died down really quickly when everyone reached end game and seen the lack of content. And I agree, I gave a review out which was a 9/10 but later had to change this when realizing the replay value of what is supposed to be a game that you will constantly player, a semi-MMO if you must. It didn't get any better with Expansion I. However, Bungie has seen their ways and changed a bit in the game just before the release of Expansion II: Warmind.

what no comments lol has this game truly died a death?!

showtimefolks2591d ago

You should have seen an earlier review I think it had actual bungie developers bashing the review

This game is a lost cause time to move on unless bungie is willing to make drastic changes

Gwiz2591d ago

Bungie is dumb, they think a summit can convince people to buy this expansion or better yet make reviewers more acceptable of the situation of which they themselves created. SMH..

Destiny 2 this week is cheaper than Destiny 1 at Best Buy. Just let that sink in. It's under $10 with GCU.

A shooter for me to play while I bask in these 15 weeks off from work starting this Friday.

the single story is so short and the lack of information about Rasputin is still huge. Why don't they explained it better. The plus is the Valkyrie weapon. Its cool and you can feel its power, but I have no doubt that the lack of content is still huge.

Damn, thats still expensive. Let me know when its for the PS Plus free game offering.

I remember getting a PC code for the base game off Amazon for $15 not long after release. Played for 20 hours and gave up on it. Leveling felt lackluster and all the "classes" felt the same.

I know they have sub-classes now, so I guess there's more variance to be had.

epic is certainly not a word I would use... fun the first few times maybe.

Machomania2594d ago

Definitely not. It's basically a horde mode and a bit more content that already looks similar to the stuff we did before.

PapaBop2593d ago

I dunno, do people still use the term epic fail? Pretty much sums up Destiny 2 from a sequel perspective.

Neonridr2593d ago

lol.. you got me there :P

kayoss2594d ago

Ive noticed there's one thing that have been consistent with each expansion or DLC release for this game. Its the complaints that come with it. At least bungie have been doing that right.

Ninjamonkey822594d ago

Sad thing is we will have to wait till destiny 3 till get destiny 2, This mess cost me 80gpd and i only turn it on to complete the add ons. The go faster update has thrown me aswell adding extra speed and players to maps designed for 4v4 don't do much for me, make maps that suit imo. Used to be a time bungie where great at map design esp in pvp space .

This is the first expansion than I’m not excited for. I love Destiny but I gotta admit D2 just sucks. I don’t understand why they didn’t build upon what they learned at the end of D1. Its like they are slowly giving us D1 features and expect us to be excited. I bought the season pass so I’ll be giving it a go but if Bungie wants my hard earned money next expansion better deliver.

jazzking20012593d ago

hpefully they dont screw it up

PapaBop2593d ago

I read that D2 turned out the way it did because they basically have two development teams, one working on the live game (D1) and the other on the sequel (D2) and from the sounds of things, didn't coordinate anything between each other. If you look at it from that perspective, it makes a lot of sense how D2 ended up the way it did.

Mr_Wilson2593d ago

This expansion will be poor. The next expansion will be good, because people haven't already paid for it.

Yes, Activision really are that despicable.
