CG writes: Following in the footsteps of Illusion’s VR Kanojo, the Japanese developer is now setting its sights on a western release for its new VR experience, SUMMER VACATION. You can check out the game trailer before making your minds up as to what sort of things players will be able to get up to with the Dead or Alive series Marie Rose lookalike. Western gamers can now add the game to their Steam wishlist and most likely much like VR Kanojo, once the game is released Illusion will unleash an optional “Adult” patch to unlock the extra content.
CG writes: Japanese developer Illusion announced the sequel to VR Kanojo entitled, Summer Vacation back in 2018 and today the game has finally released on Steam (VR only and works with the HP Reverb G2). We’re calling it VR Kanojo 2: Summer Vacation because it features the same character from the first game with blonde hair. However, it is by a new developer ALPHA-NEXT who obviously took up the mantle. The game offers a much broader array of activities including Volleyball, frisbee throwing and some more intimate moments such as applying sun tan oil and kissing. However, there is no 18+ content available (as far as we can tell) at present despite the game suggesting there is nudity. The game is rather suggestive though at times.
They are seriously ripping off the tecmo dead or alive beach volleyball franchise right down to Marie rose. Even her name is way too close...Alice clover? Really? Lol.
I dont see this game needing a patch. Doesnt seem to be made with the intent to have sex with these characters. Looks boring. But well see.
Again, Illusion & KT should just collaborate already. I think Illu. can really benefit from Soft Engine 2.0 or just the overall polish that collaboration can bring to their games.
