Two expansions from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 are free to grab on all platforms

There have been four multiplayer expansions released for Battlefield 1 since its release back in 2016, each one bringing new maps, vehicles, weapons, and more to the World War 1 shooter. And today, EA has begun giving away the game's very first expansion, They Shall Not Pass, on all platforms.

The story is too old to be commented.

After the last two battlefields I’m done with buying season pass. If it’s anything like this game, I moved on long before the first dlc came out and none of it felt like worthwhile enough editions to pull me away from whatever other game I was playing at the time. Not to mention the dlc server population dies within weeks. Firm no on any season pass if I pick up the next battlefield.

Yeah I would not be shocked if all DLC goes free in bf1 as a road to bf 5. BF4 and hardline all went free in the end temporarily at least

I bought premium for bf1 and bever played it (busy friends). I do hope that bf1 will still work after the release of bf5 because they broke bf4 after the release of bf1. Only one server online on PS4 :(

What really pissed me off was the price drop and DLC inclusion before most of the expansions had been released! Felt burned on buying into the season pass. What was the point? Love BF, but no more premium for me.

Yeah that pissed me off too. It worked out that the first dlc was like $30 alone since the price dropped so much for revolution. Just straight up ignorance towards your consumers and supporters. No more.

Free is good splitting the user base not so.

BF1 sucked. There was no real incentive to keep playing for me.
