I don’t see Switch outselling DS lifetime sales

Eh, I wouldn't necessarily say it's "going to" happen, but it's certainly possible. They're already predicting 20 million sold for the Switch in just its second year and handheld sales usually peak later the home consoles do. In a year it will still be ahead of the 25 month DS sales and the DS has the advantage of launching during the holiday season. The Switch even has yet to get a 2D Mario, Pokemon, or a new Mario Kart . . . which are Nintendo's 3 biggest series. Nintendo also said they want to support the Switch for 7 years. Add in factors like the situation in Japan, where the Switch has almost no competition, that Nintendo is having most of its handheld and home console teams working on Switch, and that Nintendo seems to be looking at a China launch . . . the Switch could end up being very successful.

Again, I don't necessarily think it will happen, but I definitely wouldn't count the Switch out at this point.

Its funny. You never see Switch Vs Vita VGchartz on here. I mean its a given the Switch outsold its life time like it did the Wii U but you never see a Vita/Switch comparison. I haven't noticed one anyway.
